MUSES LAB INTENT
This Lab explores whatever inner and outer conditions might be conducive to inviting, interacting with, and serving the Muses archetype -- not "my" Muse" or "your Muse" (they belong to no one!) but the Muses -- through presence, symbolic gesture, movement, ritual actions, and vocal creations. ‘The Muse’, or Daemon, will be approached animistically as an autonomous, numenous archetype functioning independently of ego and capable of inspiring heightened states of creativity, visionary experience, spiritual shocks, and sometimes Art. This Lab will explore the Five Intentions (see below) with our chosen charged trinities (Holy Trinity method) as a tertiary conduit for magnetizing the Muses archetype. Embodied voice methods will also be introduced to amplify the rituals. Alongside their facilitation responsibilities, Antero and Sylvi will also participate in this Muses Lab.
The Five Intentions:
- Merging (identification; becoming the source)
- Service (expressing source through you without becoming it; body as vessel)
- Surrender (full-body offering of self to source; total embodimet of source)
- Sustaining Care (what I love most about source as a sustaining current)
- Inquiry (asking questions of the source; source dialogue)
