LAB INTENT
This ritual
lab was dedicated
to the exposure and excavation of personal
and
social
hypocrisies as vital
resources for developing forceful
comic characters
entangled
in farce and satirical posturing. This theme has come to me
through
an
emerging and consistent
impression of
unchecked
hypocrisy, within myself,
in those around
me and the society
at large,
that impedes
honest
perception,
action
and relating.
By exposing and embodying
these
tendencies,
in all their
intrinsic hilarity
and horror,
I hope to touch an active nerve in
ourselves
and
then,
in one another.
This will be the experiment, the process
and the goal.
